Studio Cire

Studio Cire was founded by Cynthia Garbutt in 2014 with a focus on encaustic works on paper and canvas. A centuries-old art form, encaustic is formed in wax layers with heat, ink, and oil paint. Based in Chicago, Garbutt's work has appeared in exhibits across the city and the United States. Her first international appearances will take place in 2024.
